Steamed fish with soy & ginger

Method

  • Place the fish on a large plate (that can fit into your steamer). Then scatter the ginger on top, sprinkle with quite a bit of soy, cover and steam for about 6-8 mins.
  • When almost ready, scatter the bok choy and snowpeas on top and briefly cook.
  • To serve, place the vegies on individual plates, top with the fish, spoon the cooking juices over and sprinkle with spring onion.

Ingredients

  • 2 x 180-200 gm fish steaks
  • 2 tbsp julienned or grated fresh ginger
  • soy sauce
  • a small handful of baby bok choy leaves
  • 12 snowpeas, prepared
  • 2-3 spring (green) onions, shredded on the diagonal
