Warm calamari & snowpea salad


  • Clean and finely slice the calamari into rings.
  • Heat a little oil in a heavy-bottomed pan (or wok) and briefly stirfry the calamari until lightly coloured.
  • Add the snowpeas and lettuce and briefly cook, tossing with the Asian sauce at the last minute.
  • Serve on individual plates as a starter or light meal.



  • 6 small calamari
  • vegetable oil
  • 12 snowpeas, shredded
  • ¼ iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • a good slurp of Huey’s Asian dressing (or any other Asian sauce)
