Bridge Creek Heavenly Hots
Method
- Whisk the eggs in a large bowl until well blended. Then add the salt, baking powder, flour, sugar and sour cream. Whisk to form a smooth, thick batter.
- Heat a little oil with the butter in a large non-stick pan and cook small spoonfuls of the batter at a time. When bubbles appear, turn over and briefly cook the other side. Carefully drain on a clean tea towel.
- Serve with maple syrup and icing sugar sprinkled on top.
