Savoury cheese pastries


  • Preheat oven to 180°C fan forced (200°C normal). 
  • Mash the feta, ricotta, mint, dill, green onions and 1 egg together until well combined. 
  • Then cut 4 rounds per each pastry sheet on a lightly floured work bench. 
  • Beat together the remaining egg with the milk. 
  • Spoon a mound of the cheese mixture in the centre of each round. Then brush the egg wash around the edges, fold the pastry over and press down and crimp the edges. 
  • Place the pastries in a large, lightly oiled baking tray, brush the tops with more egg wash and cook in the oven for about 15 mins until puffed and golden brown.

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh mint
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 3 spring (green) onions, finely chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 2-3 puff pastry sheets
  • plain flour
  • ¼ cup milk
  • cooking oil spray
