Pizza scrolls
Method

Preheat oven to 180°-200°C fan forced (200°-220°C normal).

Beat the egg with the milk.

Then place 2 puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured workbench, slightly overlapping and seal the edge with egg wash.

Spread the sauce over the top, leaving an edge, and top with pesto. Then lay the ham and prosciutto over and generously sprinkle with cheese.

Tightly roll up the pastry and then cut into even slices crossways.

Then place the scrolls on a lightly oiled baking dish, paint the tops with egg wash and cook in the oven for about 15-20 mins.
- nb. Any choice of fillings can be used.

Italian tomato cooking sauce (or home made tomato sauce)

finely sliced (or shaved) ham

slices of prosciutto
