A couple of birthday party favourites


  • To make the Rocky Road Chocolate Crackles, put the Chocolate Crackles, Rice Bubbles, marshmallows, icing sugar, cocoa, glace cherries, coconut and melted copha in a large bowl and mix with a spoon until well combined.
  • Then spoon the mixture into small paper patty cases and refrigerate until set.
  • To make fairy bread, butter the toast bread. Then cut each piece into any desired shape (I like heart-shaped cutters).
  • Generously coat the buttered side of the bread with 100's & 1000's.
  • Then arrange everything on a large platter and serve.

  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 3 tbsp Dutch cocoa
  • 100 gm glace cherries, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 250 gm copha, melted
  • soft unsalted butter
  • fresh white toast bread
  • 100's & 1000's
