Steamed scallops with ginger, chilli & soy

Method

  • Place the scallops in one layer on a plate (that can fit into your steamer) and top with the ginger, chilli and a splash of soy. Cover and steam for 2-3 mins.
  • Serve the scallops on individual plates with spring onion scattered on top.

Ingredients

  • 8 scallops, in the shell
  • 1 tbsp shredded fresh ginger
  • 1 small red chilli, seeded & finely sliced
  • soy sauce 3 spring (green) onions, finely sliced on the diagonal
