Cheesy tuna melts


  • Preheat overhead grill to highest degree.
  • Drain the tuna, break into chunks and combine with the spring onions, mayonnaise, seasonings and parsley.
  • Toast or grill the bread on both sides. Then spread a generous amount of the tuna mixture on each piece right to the edges, sprinkle with tasty cheese and grill until golden and bubbling.


  • 1 small can tuna
  • 2-3 spring (green) onions, chopped
  • 2 heaped tbsp mayonnaise
  • sea salt & freshly ground pepper
  • 1-2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 thick slices sourdough bread
  • grated tasty cheese
