Salmon BLT


  • Combine the mayonnaise, sour cream and mustard with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Set aside. 
  • Spray the salmon all over with oil and cook on a preheated ridged grill (or BBQ).
  • When almost ready, grill the bacon and grill or toast the bread. 
  • Then smear one side of the toast with the mayo and top with the lettuce, tomato, bacon and salmon.
  • Press another piece of toast on top and serve.


  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tspn Dijon mustard
  • 1 lemon or lime
  • 4 x 100 gm salmon steaks, skin & bones removed
  • olive oil spray
  • sea salt & freshly ground pepper
  • 4 rindless bacon rashers
  • 8 thick slices sourdough bread
  • inner leaves of 1 cos lettuce, washed well
  • 3 ripe red tomatoes, cored & thickly sliced
