Ham & cheese bread


  • Preheat oven to 200°C fan forced (220°C normal).
  • Cut 10 or so slices almost through the baguette from the top. Then smear each cut with chutney and push the cheese and ham in. 
  • Place the bread in an oven tray and cook in the oven until the cheese has melted and the bread is crusty.


  • 1 baguette (French stick)
  • your favourite chutney
  • tasty cheese, finely sliced
  • 6 slices ham, sliced about the same size as the cheese
