2-minute chilli noodles


  • Soak the noodles in boiling water until separated. Drain well.
  • At the same time, heat a little oil in a wok (or large non-stick pan) and briefly cook the chillies.
  • Add the wonga bok, snowpeas, spring onions and pork. Briefly toss and then add the noodles, Teriyaki marinade, oyster sauce and stock. Toss to heat through and taste for seasoning.


  • 1 packet Hokkien noodles
  • vegetable oil
  • 2 small red chillies, finely sliced
  • ¼ wonga bok (Chinese cabbage), shredded
  • 8 snowpeas, shredded
  • 2-3 spring (green) onions, shredded on the diagonal
  • ¼ bought Chinese BBQ pork, shredded (optional)
  • a splash of Teriyaki marinade
  • a splash of oyster sauce
  • ¼ cup vegetable stock
