Dead easy Golden Syrup pudding


  • Beat 100 gm butter with the sugar using a hand mixer until the mixture changes colour.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time, continually mixing. 
  • Then mix in the flour and vanilla with a wooden spoon. 
  • Brush a microwave bowl with a little melted butter and spoon Golden Syrup in the base. Add the batter and smooth the top. Then cover with plastic wrap and microwave on medium for about 7½ mins. 
  • Turn out the pudding onto a large plate and serve with the cream.

  • 6 heaped tbsp Golden Syrup
  • runny cream
