Peking duck in a flash


  • Preheat oven to 200°C fan forced (220°C normal).
  • Portion the duck, then wrap individually in kitchen foil and heat in the oven for 4-5 mins.
  • Also wrap the tortillas in foil and heat in the oven for the last 2 mins.
  • When ready, slice the duck meat (and serve the bones on the side). 
  • Smear the tortillas with Hoisin and top each one with the cucumber, spring onions and 2 pieces of duck. Then fold the bottom over, roll up and enjoy!


  • ½ bought Peking duck, whole, but with as many bones removed as possible
  • 6 burrito tortillas
  • Hoisin sauce
  • ½ telegraph (continental) cucumber, cut into batons
  • 2-3 spring (green) onions, cut into strips
