Mars Bar sugar bananas


  • Place large pieces of kitchen foil on a workbench and spread some jam in the centre. Then top with 2 bananas and sliced Mars bar.
  • Loosely fold up the foil, leaving space on top, and cook for 3-5 mins on a preheated BBQ or grill.
  • Serve individually in the foil with whipped cream or ice cream on alongside.


  • good quality apricot jam (or another variety)
  • 4-8 ripe sugar bananas, peeled
  • 1-2 Mars bars (or another chocolate bar), sliced lengthways 
  • whipped double cream or vanilla ice cream
