Charlotte's tarts

Method

  • Preheat oven to 200°C fan forced (220°C normal).
  • Prepare all the ingredients and place in individual bowls.
  • Then cut pastry sheets into various shapes, using pastry cutters.
  • Whisk the egg and milk to make an egg wash.
  • Smear the pastry shapes with tomato cooking sauce and place your favourite toppings on top, leaving an edge all around. Then brush the edges with the egg wash and cook in the oven for 10-12 mins until golden.

  • pitted olives, sliced

  • ¼ cup milk

  • puff pastry sheets
