Dead easy sausage rolls


  • Preheat oven to 180°-200°C fan forced (200°-220°C normal).
  • Lightly spray a baking tray with oil and place a pastry sheet on top, overlapping one side. Then smear chutney in the centre, leaving an edge, and lay a sausage across. Roll up, seam side down and lightly score with a sharp knife.
  • Continue the process with the remaining pastry sheets and sausages.
  • Beat the egg with the milk and brush over the pastry.  Then cook in the oven for 25-30 mins until the rolls are golden brown. 
  • Serve with extra chutney on the side.

  • 3 bought puff pastry sheets
  • tomato chutney
  • 4 good thick sausages, peeled
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup milk
