Pizza pie


  • Preheat oven to 200°C.
  • Place a pastry sheet on a lightly oiled baking sheet. Smear with tomato cooking sauce, leaving an edge all around, and top with a layer of salami. Then scatter tomatoes, anchovies, olives, basil and a generous amount of both cheeses on top.
  • Whisk the egg and milk until well combined and brush around the pastry edges.
  • Then place the other pastry sheet on top, press down and crimp the edges with a fork. Paint the lot with the egg wash and cook in the top shelf of the oven for about 15-18 mins until golden and risen.
  • Serve as is or with a simple salad on the side.
