Baby Ruth bars

Method

  • Place the sugars, corn syrup and peanut butter in a heavy-bottomed pot. Bring to the boil and mix well until smooth.
  • Mix together the Cornflakes, chocolate chips and peanuts in a bowl. Then pour the peanut butter mixture over the top and stir until well combined.
  • Spray a Swiss Roll pan with oil and press the mixture down to make level. Set aside to cool thoroughly. Then remove from the pan and cut into bars to serve.

  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 6 cups Cornflakes, crushed
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup raw peanuts
  • cooking oil spray
