Baby back ribs with an Asian feel


  • Preheat oven to 210°C fan forced (230°C normal).
  • Whisk up the spring onions, garlic, sugar, BBQ sauce, soy, honey, mustard, chilli paste and 5-spice powder. Taste for seasoning.
  • Then place the spare ribs in a large roasting tray and pour the sauce over the top. Toss to coat well and cook in the oven for about 45 mins until tender, tossing every now and again.
  • Serve with plenty of serviettes and finger bowls.

  • 6 tbsp honey
  • 6 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tspn chilli paste
  • 2 tspn 5-spice powder
  • 2 kg baby back spare ribs, individually cut
