Lime & honey wings


  • Preheat oven to 220°C.
  • Place the floured wings in a lightly oiled baking tray. Toss well, season and cook in the oven for about 30 mins.
  • While the wings are cooking, whisk the honey, lime zest and juice with seasonings, the soy and garlic.
  • Then add the sauce to the wings and toss well, before briefly cooking in the oven until golden brown, adding more oil if needed. (Make a small cut next to the bone to check if ready.) 
  • Serve with finger bowls and plenty of serviettes on the side.


  • 24 chicken wings, halved
  • plain flour
  • olive oil
  • sea salt & freshly ground pepper
  • ½ cup honey
  • grated rind of 2 limes
  • 4 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
