Berber bread


  • Combine the flour and salt in a food processor. Then add the hot water with 4 tbsp oil, continually processing until the mixture forms a ball and comes away from the sides.
  • Then roll out the dough on a lightly floured workbench. Cut into 4 and roll into roundish shapes.
  • Heat a lightly oiled, large non-stick pan and fry the dough in batches over a moderate heat until brown on both sides.
  • Cut each piece into 4 and serve with honey drizzled on top.
