Baked baby fish with lemon dill


  • Preheat oven to 220°C. 
  • Place the fish on lightly oiled large piece of kitchen foil and cut 3 diagonal slices on one side of the fish.
  • Put the slices from ½ lemon into the slits, season well, squeeze lemon juice over and top with the dill. Then spray with oil, wrap up tightly (with more foil if needed), place in an oven tray and cook in the oven for about 10-12 mins, checking if ready by making a small cut with a knife behind the head.
  • Serve with a simple salad on the side.

  • 1 small handful dill (or fennel leaves)
