Seekh Kebab

Method

  • Mix all the ingredients together, using your hands, and divide into portions.
  • Then, using wet hands, shape the portions into a sausage around individual metal skewers. Grill over a gentle heat for 5-6 mins, turning now and again.
  • Serve with traditional Indian sauces and a simple salad on the side.

Ingredients

  • 500 gm lean lamb mince
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin 
  • ½ tbsp garam masala
  • ½ tbsp white pepper
  • ½ tspn chilli powder
  • 1 tspn salt
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 30 ml vegetable oil
  • 1 small bunch coriander
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped onion
