Cheese & garlic bread


  • Preheat oven to 220°C fan forced (240°C normal).
  • Mix the butter, cheese, garlic, lemon juice and parsley using a wooden spoon until well combined.
  • Cut the baguette in half and then lengthways.
  • Then smear the bottom side of the bread with the butter, put the top on and cook in the oven until crispy and the butter has melted.


  • 100 gm butter, softened
  • 1 cup grated tasty cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • juice of ½-1 lemon
  • 2-3 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 baguette (French stick)
