Rice Bubble slice

Method

  • Place the butter, sugar and golden syrup in a small pot and gently cook for about 5 mins until it changes colour, continually stirring.
  • Then pour the mixture over the Rice Bubbles. Mix well and spoon on to a generously oiled slice tray. Press down to an even thickness with a wooden spoon and allow to cool (not in the refrigerator). Cut in pieces to serve.
  • nb.  Keep in an airtight container for at least one week (if it lasts that long!).

  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 5 cups Rice Bubbles
  • cooking oil spray
